What makes the Spitz AX so interesting?
The GL.inet Spitz AX has long been the fiercest competitor to Teltonika routers. Not only does it support 5G, but it also features Wi-Fi 6, the latest Wi-Fi standard—and at a significantly lower price than Teltonika. Thanks to its cellular module, it can be used WORLDWIDE—a feature hardly any other router offers, and if they do, it comes at a significantly higher price. In addition, it’s intuitive to use, easy to set up, comes with a wall mount right out of the box, and features built-in active cooling that cools the router’s electronics when temperatures get too high. When it comes to Wi-Fi connectivity, it naturally supports captive portal hotspots as well. For VPN, WireGuard and OpenVPN are available; for remote maintenance, Tilescale and Zerotier—all of which can be used free of charge. In the current version, it can program the eSIM directly from the QR code on the router. The eSIM is inserted as a physical SIM card into Slot 1 and can be removed and used in a smartphone. The physical eSIM card must be purchased separately.
